About the Role
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Radiation Therapist to deliver high-quality radiation therapy to patients at healthcare facilities nationwide. In this role, you will administer treatments as prescribed, operate radiation equipment safely, verify treatment plans, and collaborate closely with oncologists, dosimetrists, and nursing staff.
As a traveling therapist, you will adapt quickly to different healthcare facility protocols, workflows, and technologies. You will be responsible for patient simulations, accurate positioning using immobilization devices and imaging guidance, and monitoring patients before, during, and after treatment. Your work ensures safe and effective care while educating patients and families about the treatment process and self-care strategies.
