About the Role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a facility in Kearney, Nebraska. This role serves adult patients with high-acuity diagnoses, including cardiac, vascular, renal, respiratory, oncology, stroke, and sepsis cases.
In this position, you will provide direct patient care in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Your day will involve titrating IV drips per protocol, independently interpreting telemetry strips, and managing complex equipment such as arterial lines and high-flow oxygen systems. You will maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 while collaborating with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members. The unit is well-equipped with overhead and portable lifts, vein finders, and bladder scanners, offering a supportive setting that values communication, flexibility, and continuous learning.

The facility requires a minimum of two holidays per contract and every other weekend, with night shifts running from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM.
