Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care on a 20-bed inpatient overflow unit
- check_circleMonitor and manage telemetry for patients on bedside monitors
- check_circleCare for short-stay patients in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
- check_circleDocument patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner EMR
- check_circleFloat to other units as needed per facility guidelines
- check_circleMaintain patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 while collaborating with charge nurses and CNAs
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of experience in Progressive Care or Step-Down setting
- verifiedDemonstrated telemetry competency
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
Nice to Have
Recent progressive care or step-down experience. Experience with Cerner EMR. Positive, patient-experience-focused attitude with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
