About the Role
As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in varied environments nationwide. This role exists to ensure that patients receive consistent, evidence-based therapy regardless of their location. You will adapt quickly to new clinical policies and workflows, maintaining high standards of care and professionalism on every assignment.
Your day will involve evaluating patient conditions to determine therapy needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care. You will serve as a key educator for patients and families, guiding them on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques. Success in this role requires the ability to navigate different facility cultures while managing travel logistics and maintaining open communication with our support staff regarding scheduling and assignment details.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or be eligible to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The application process includes verification of your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. All candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and immunization/health requirements as mandated by the specific facility and state regulations.
