About the Role
As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in varied environments nationwide. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care by adapting quickly to new clinical settings, policies, and workflows. You will serve as a vital link in the interdisciplinary care team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning.
In this position, your day-to-day involves delivering comprehensive evaluations and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Whether focusing on orthopedic, neurological, or cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, you will guide patients and their families through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional mobility training. Beyond clinical care, you will play a key role in educating patients on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques, ensuring long-term functional gains.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or be eligible to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The process includes verifying your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and valid driver's license. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass background checks, drug screens, and immunization/health requirements as mandated by facility and state regulations.
