About the Facility
This opportunity is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, within a Home Health setting. The role involves traveling through a wide service area including Terrell, Sherrills Ford, Mount Holly, Maiden, Catawba, Troutman, McAdenville, Lincolnton, High Shoals, Denver, Dallas, Cramerton, Belmont, and surrounding cities. Travelers can expect to manage approximately six visits per day with an average daily driving distance of 60-80 miles, for which mileage is reimbursed weekly.
The team focuses on patients with chronic diseases and orthopedic conditions, including post-orthopedic surgery cases. Support is provided by departmental leadership, schedulers, clinical managers, clinical supervisors, and a collaborative clinical team.
About the Role
As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting evaluations, reassessments, and discharges, as well as supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs). This position is ideal for a seasoned professional comfortable with home health environments, including those who are first-time travelers with strong home health experience. You will utilize technology such as EPIC Rover (view-only), Focura for uploading discharge instructions and wound documentation, Samsung Note 9 phones, and Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
