As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in varied environments nationwide. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care across different facilities, adapting quickly to new clinical settings, policies, and workflows while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. You will serve as a vital link in the care continuum, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning.
In this position, you will evaluate patient conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. Your day-to-day involves not only direct patient care but also educating patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques. You will navigate diverse clinical environments, ensuring compliance with state practice acts and facility guidelines while maintaining accurate documentation within EMR systems.
To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or eligibility to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The process includes verifying your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and valid driver's license. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and immunization/health requirements as mandated by the specific facility and state regulations.
