About the Role
As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients across varied environments. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care in facilities that need it most, allowing you to adapt quickly to new workflows while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. You will serve as a key member of the interdisciplinary care team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans and optimize patient discharge planning.
Your day-to-day involves evaluating patient conditions through musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional assessments to determine specific therapy needs. You will develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans designed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function. Beyond direct patient care, you will educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques, ensuring they have the tools to maintain functional gains after your assignment concludes.
Hiring Process
To join our team, you must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or be eligible to obtain one prior to your assignment start. Candidates must also hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent accredited degree, current BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. The selection process includes verifying your credentials, passing a background check, drug screen, and meeting immunization and health requirements as per facility and state regulations.
