About the Role
As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in varied environments nationwide. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care by adapting quickly to new clinical settings, policies, and workflows. You will serve as a vital link in the interdisciplinary care team, collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care plans and discharge strategies.
In this position, you will evaluate patient conditions, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions ranging from orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation to post-surgical care. Your day-to-day involves educating patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques, while maintaining accurate documentation within EMR systems. Success in this role requires a high degree of adaptability and professionalism as you navigate different facilities and patient populations.
