About the Role
As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in varied environments nationwide. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care by adapting quickly to new clinical settings, policies, and workflows. You will serve as a vital link in the interdisciplinary care team, collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care plans and discharge strategies.
In this position, you will evaluate patient conditions to develop evidence-based treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring function. Your day-to-day involves delivering therapeutic interventions, educating patients and families on home exercise programs, and maintaining accurate documentation within EMR systems. Success in this role requires a high standard of professionalism and the ability to navigate different facility guidelines while maintaining compliance with state practice acts and safety standards.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or eligibility to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The selection process includes verification of your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and valid driver's license. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and immunization/health requirements as mandated by the specific facility and state regulations.
