As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care in varied environments, adapting quickly to new clinical settings, policies, and workflows. This role exists to improve patient mobility, reduce pain, and restore function through evidence-based interventions. You will be the face of our commitment to patient outcomes, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care plans and discharge strategies.
Your day will involve conducting comprehensive evaluations to determine therapy needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and educating patients and families on maintaining functional gains. Beyond clinical duties, you will maintain open communication with Fusion Medical Staffing support staff regarding assignment details and scheduling, ensuring a seamless experience for both you and the facilities you serve.
To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or eligibility to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The process includes verifying your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and valid driver's license. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and immunization/health requirements as mandated by facility and state regulations.
