As a Travel Pediatric Cath Lab Tech, you will be an essential partner to pediatric cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This role exists to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and procedural efficiency in high-stakes environments. You will operate advanced imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, manage sterile fields, and coordinate closely with nursing, anesthesia, and cardiology teams to deliver optimal care.
Your day will involve preparing pediatric patients and procedure rooms, monitoring patient status and radiation doses, and administering contrast media per strict protocols. Beyond technical execution, you will play a key role in maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
