About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Stepdown Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at a facility in Lewisville, Texas. In this role, you will provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical or general inpatient units. These patients require frequent monitoring and complex nursing interventions.
You will be the eyes and ears for the medical team, interpreting cardiac rhythms and telemetry data to detect abnormalities and respond appropriately to life-saving situations. Your day will involve administering cardiac medications, preparing equipment for procedures, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Beyond clinical duties, you will initiate patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications, ensuring a smooth transition for patients as they recover.
