About the Role
As a Travel PACU RN, you will be the vital link in delivering safe, high-quality post-anesthesia care across our partner facilities. This role exists to ensure patients emerge from anesthesia smoothly, managing their airways, hemodynamics, pain, and sedation with precision. You will collaborate closely with anesthesia providers, surgical teams, and perioperative staff to facilitate safe, efficient care transitions and timely discharges.
In this position, your day involves assessing patients emerging from surgery, administering IV fluids and medications, and continuously monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms. You will document care meticulously in the EMR while adhering to strict safety and infection-control standards. Beyond clinical duties, you will educate patients and families on post-operative expectations and participate in quality and safety improvement initiatives. As a travel nurse, you will adapt quickly to new settings and protocols, floating between assignments nationwide while upholding Gifted Healthcare's standards of integrity and patient advocacy.

Requirements
