This opportunity is based at a rural community hospital in Price, Utah, serving Carbon and Emery counties. The 39-bed facility offers both inpatient and outpatient services and holds a Gold Seal of Approval® from The Joint Commission. It is also recognized as an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a Stroke-designated facility.
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) consists of 5 beds with a 1:1 patient ratio. The unit serves a diverse patient population, specifically excluding cardiac or neuro cases. Scrubs are supplied by the unit and must be worn by staff.
American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a 13-week assignment in the PACU. This role is designed for experienced nurses looking to work in a supportive rural setting with a focused patient demographic. The position operates on a day shift schedule (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) for 40 hours per week.
In addition to daily duties, the role includes call coverage requirements of approximately 8–10 days per month, with specific coverage needed on weekends only. The facility utilizes the Medhost Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

To qualify for the travel rate, candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility. Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible, and candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment.
