About the Role

This opportunity is a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) travel assignment located in a high-volume perioperative setting in Kansas City, KS. The role is designed for a Certified Surgical Technologist to provide essential scrub and circulating support in an acute care environment with a specific focus on cardiac procedures.

You will be a vital member of the surgical team, working in a fast-paced environment where precision and efficiency are paramount. Your day will involve preparing operative setups, draping patients, assisting with positioning, and managing instrument counts. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and other OR staff to maintain sterile technique, assist with suctioning and retraction, and ensure patient safety during complex cardiac surgeries. The position requires adaptability, as you may be scheduled for 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts within a 0630–1900 window, with occasional weekend rotations and holiday call responsibilities.

Credentialing is a critical step, with all credentials due one week prior to the start date.
