As a Travel OR RN, you will serve as a vital member of the surgical team, providing high-quality perioperative care in a variety of dynamic settings. This role exists to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the entire surgical continuum, from preoperative assessment to postoperative hand-off. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate efficient, patient-centered care.
In this position, you will adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, and policies as you move through different travel assignments. Your day will involve assessing patients, managing IVs and medications, maintaining strict sterile technique, and advocating for patient safety during procedures. Whether circulating or scrubbing, you will be the steady hand that supports the surgical team while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory standards.
