Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide perioperative nursing care from admission to discharge in a 1:1 patient ratio
- check_circleCoordinate and oversee surgical procedures in collaboration with the surgical team
- check_circlePrepare operating rooms for surgeries, including ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
- check_circleMonitor and document patient vitals and maintain accurate medical records
- check_circleAdminister medications, including anesthesia, and manage patient recovery effectively
- check_circleAdhere to universal protocols and ensure patient safety during procedures
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN License in California
- verifiedMinimum 2 years recent OR experience
- verifiedCertification in Basic Life Support (BCLS)
- verifiedCertification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- verifiedProficient in Epic charting system
- verifiedExperience with thoracotomies and laminectomies
