Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care in a medical/surgical oncology setting
- check_circlePerform clinical assessments and administer treatments to patients
- check_circleMonitor patient responses to treatments throughout the shift
- check_circleConduct or support telephone triage nursing activities as needed
- check_circleFloat to other affiliated facilities within the required radius as directed
- check_circleComplete all required training modules prior to and during the contract period
Requirements
- verifiedActive California RN License
- verifiedAHA BLS certification
- verifiedMinimum 3 years oncology nursing experience
- verifiedMinimum 5 years total RN experience
- verifiedBSN degree required
- verifiedPrior travel nursing experience within last 12 months
Nice to Have
Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification, telephone triage nursing experience, minimum 2 years of outpatient oncology experience, prior teaching hospital experience, medical/surgical oncology experience.
