We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) to join our team in Jamaica, New York. This travel position is based in a Skilled Nursing Facility, where you will plan and conduct individualized occupational therapy programs. Your primary focus will be helping patients develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities, including teaching the use of adaptive equipment. You will also be responsible for studying, evaluating, and recording patient activities and progress.
This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience while filling a critical demand in the field. The position is scheduled for Monday through Friday, with 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts). While the contract duration is anticipated to cover the current and/or future school year, the specific start date is ASAP.
