This Registered Nurse (RN) position is located at the Norfolk City Jail in Norfolk, VA. The role is designed for those ready to take on a position that will enrich their career and make a real impact on the community. You will provide direct patient care in a correctional setting, collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans while ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a correctional healthcare or similar environment. Experience in roles that involve direct patient care or administrative support in a regulated environment. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures as they relate to the correctional setting.
