The Role in Context
As a Telemetry RN, you will be the eyes and ears of the medical team, managing patient care with a focus on cardiac monitoring. Your day will involve assisting physicians with patient management, identifying irregular telemetry readings, and initiating corrective actions when monitoring equipment signals adverse symptomatology. You will be responsible for monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment, interpreting electronic displays, and tracking electrocardiogram outputs. Success in this role requires demonstrating the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff.
