About the Position
TravelNurseSource is partnering with Magnet Medical to recruit a qualified Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Asheville, North Carolina. This role is designed for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, providing intermediate care for patients requiring a higher level of monitoring than a general medical-surgical unit but not intensive care. The PCU RN serves as a critical link in patient recovery, managing those recovering from surgery, medical procedures, or acute conditions while collaborating closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

- check_circleRespond promptly to emergencies including code blue situations and vital sign changes
- check_circleParticipate in mentoring less experienced nursing staff and training initiatives
- check_circleFollow infection control protocols and maintain compliance with hospital safety standards
- check_circleAdminister prescribed medications including IV drugs, pain management, and blood products
- check_circleEducate patients and families about recovery processes and treatment plans
