TravelNurseSource is partnering with job.com LLC to find a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Dallas, Texas. This role is designed for a professional ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment where patient-centered care is the top priority.
As a PCU RN, you will be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, delivering comprehensive care to patients with varying levels of acuity. Your day-to-day involves performing detailed patient assessments, monitoring ongoing conditions, and administering treatments per physician orders. You will play a key role in educating patients and their families on care plans and discharge instructions while maintaining rigorous documentation standards in EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
This position requires strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt quickly to different protocols. You will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure safety and high clinical standards, managing multiple patients while advocating for their diverse healthcare needs.
