About the Position
TravelNurseSource is partnering with Magnet Medical to find a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be a crucial member of the surgical team, providing direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective surgical outcomes.

- check_circleMaintain sterile technique and adhere to aseptic practices throughout the surgical process
- check_circleAdvocate for patient safety and comfort while addressing concerns and ensuring protocol adherence
- check_circleTransfer patients to PACUs or recovery rooms and monitor their vital signs and postoperative status
- check_circleAssess surgical incisions, apply dressings, and manage drainage devices while ensuring pain management
- check_circleMaintain accurate documentation of intraoperative events, patient responses, and medications administered
- check_circleParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and surgical team debriefings to enhance patient care
- check_circleMonitor patients' responses to surgical interventions and intervene promptly for potential complications
