About the Position
TravelNurseSource is partnering with Care Career to recruit a qualified Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Cortez, Colorado (81321). This role begins on June 8, 2026, covering day shifts for three 12-hour days per week.
Labor and Delivery RNs play a vital role in the journey of expecting and new mothers. The position involves caring for women during labor and immediately following birth, providing essential emotional and physical support for those experiencing complications. Nurses in this role collaborate closely with physicians to ensure safe deliveries and often work within hospitals, community health centers, and physician offices. A key component of the job is providing one-on-one education to pregnant women and new mothers, promoting health and bonding for both mother and child.
