About the Position
McLaren Northern is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Level 3 Medical-Surgical Unit in Petoskey, MI. This 26-bed unit serves a diverse patient population with complex medical conditions and co-morbidities, including infectious diseases, oncology, behavioral health, and hospice care. The environment is fast-paced and designed to intellectually challenge both graduate and experienced nurses.
The unit is pioneering a new Virtual Nursing staffing model. This team-based approach aims to provide more time at the bedside for direct patient care while reducing documentation burdens, fostering a collaborative environment where nurses can focus on holistic patient needs.
