About the Role

This 12-week contract opportunity places a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room (ER) and Trauma unit at a facility in Lafayette, CO, with a start date of May 17, 2026. The role is designed for a professional ready to perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in a fast-paced acute care environment.

In this position, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while monitoring patient health status through ongoing data collection. Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative, offering health teaching and counseling, and executing delegated medical functions. You will also be responsible for referring patients for further evaluation, reviewing treatment plans, and documenting care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.

As part of the SCL Health team, you will promote the organization's mission, vision, and values while adhering to service behavior standards. The role may require floating to other departments within your scope of competency and qualifications based on business needs, and you may be placed on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.

Application Instructions

Candidates must possess a valid Registered Nurse license (Compact accepted) and have at least one year of ER experience. Essential certifications include ACLS, BLS, CERT-NIH Stroke Scale, CERT-TNCC, and PALS. A copy of these certifications is required for the application process. Additionally, one reference from your entire work history is mandatory. A BSN is preferred.
