You will join the Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a large academic unit serving over 70,000 patients annually. This 13-week travel assignment focuses on caring for a diverse range of critical patients, including those presenting with chest pain, STEMI, stroke, and trauma. Working in a high-acuity environment with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5, you will manage complex cases requiring advanced skills such as moderate and deep sedation, central venous line insertion, laceration repair, and ventilator management.
