About the Role

We are seeking a Travel Nurse RN for a Med Surg position in Beaufort, South Carolina. This 13-week assignment begins on June 17, 2026, covering night shifts (19:00 - 07:00) for 36 hours per week. The role is based at a facility with a daily census of 23 patients across 29 beds, serving adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

You will be working in a dynamic environment with patient ratios of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night. The unit requires flexibility, as floating within the hospital is a key component of this assignment due to high patient-to-care ratios. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team supported by Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams. The facility manages a diverse range of diagnoses, including stroke, renal failure, and COPD, and utilizes the Meditech EMR system.

Application & Hiring Process

To be considered for this assignment, candidates must be SC licensed and have at least 2 years of Med Surg experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Please note that the facility will not accept any license or background hits, and a 50-mile radius restriction applies.

Submission Requirements:

• Valid state license and AHA certifications (BCLS, NIHSS).
• Flu and COVID-19 vaccines are required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed).
• A Return to Office (RTO) history must be disclosed and approved prior to assignment start; minimal to no RTO is preferred.
• Candidates must have been in good standing at their previous departure and must be gone for 1 year before returning.

Interview & Onboarding:

• Interviews will discuss RTO history and floating comfort levels.
• Non-billable compliance modules (average 8 hours) must be completed pre-start or during orientation.
• Orientation consists of 24 hours.
