About the Role
We are seeking a Travel Nurse RN for our Med Surg specialty in Peoria, Illinois. In this role, you will consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. You will prepare and administer prescribed medications (orally, subcutaneously, and through an IV), record them, and report any adverse reactions to treatments.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include educating patients on surgical procedures, recording medical information and vital signs, and monitoring specialized equipment. You will interpret and record electronic displays to ensure patient safety and optimal care delivery.
