Key Responsibilities
- check_circleMaintain telemetry awareness and collaborate with techs on rhythm interpretation
- check_circleFloat to other medical surgical areas or units with MedSurg patients as needed
- check_circleAdhere to unit dress code and facility infection control policies including artificial nail prohibition
- check_circleProvide direct patient care on Med Tele/Ortho units managing diverse medical and surgical conditions
- check_circlePerform and document hourly rounding while managing multiple admissions and discharges
- check_circleTitrate IV drips including Heparin, lidocaine, and ketamine while managing PCA pumps
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license in good standing
- verifiedBasic Life Support (BLS) certification
- verifiedExperience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry setting
- verifiedValid driver's license
- verifiedAbility to pass unit-specific skills exam with 90% score
Nice to Have
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Experience with telemetry monitoring and rhythm recognition. Ability to communicate with or provide culturally competent care to diverse patient populations, including Spanish, Karen, and Burmese-speaking patients.
