Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care on a Med-Surg General Surgery/Telemetry unit
- check_circleAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for general surgery and trauma patients
- check_circleMonitor patient telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- check_circleCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- check_circleDocument all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR
- check_circleAdhere to facility dress code and unit-specific protocols throughout the assignment
Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license
- verifiedEpic EMR experience
- verified1 year experience at 600+ bed academic hospital or 2 years experience
- verifiedMust be a travel candidate
- verifiedNavy blue scrubs required
Nice to Have
2 or more years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience in an academic hospital setting. Prior experience with general surgery and/or trauma patient populations. Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
