American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Interventional Radiology position in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This assignment takes place at a Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center featuring two IR suites. The role supports a diverse patient population, including inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients, with a focus on procedures such as biopsies, angiograms, drainage, and catheter placements. Notably, this facility does not handle neuro IR cases.
You will join a fully staffed department model that includes a dedicated team of RNs, Techs, a Radiologist, and a Lead Tech who manages daily operations. The environment is collaborative, with staff assisting with ultrasound-guided cases and CT imaging as needed. Orientation is designed to be supportive, lasting three days with the possibility of additional time if needed, and includes a buddy call system to ensure a smooth transition.
