About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse for a 15-week travel assignment at a facility in Rapid City, South Dakota. In this role, you will make a positive impact on the lives of critically ill patients while enjoying the flexibility of travel nursing and the stability of a dedicated support team.
As a Travel ICU RN, your day will involve assessing and monitoring patients in high-acuity environments, operating life-support equipment, and administering advanced treatments. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care, ensuring that both physical and emotional needs are met. This position requires strong critical care skills and advanced clinical judgment to recognize subtle changes in patient conditions and respond effectively.
Beyond clinical duties, you will provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and recovery expectations. You will also engage in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients. Requirements
