About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse for an 8-week travel assignment at a facility in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of critically ill patients while enjoying the flexibility of travel nursing. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing comprehensive critical care in a high-acuity environment.
Your day will involve assessing and monitoring patients, operating life-support equipment, and administering advanced treatments. Beyond clinical duties, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to optimize patient outcomes and provide education to patients and their families regarding recovery expectations. - check_circleAssess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in condition
- check_circleAdminister complex medications and treatments in accordance with critical care nursing techniques
- check_circleOperate and manage advanced life support equipment
- check_circlePerform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring including arterial lines and central venous pressure
- check_circleDocument all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record timely
- check_circleProvide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment and recovery expectations
- check_circleCommunicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care

Requirements
- verifiedOne year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- verifiedValid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- verifiedCurrent BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and communicate in English
Nice to Have
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification, TNCC certification, NIHSS certification.
