Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssess and monitor critically ill patients, recognizing and responding to subtle changes in patient condition
- check_circleAdminister complex medications and treatments in accordance with approved critical care nursing techniques
- check_circleOperate and manage advanced life support equipment
- check_circlePerform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines and pulmonary artery catheters
- check_circleDocument all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner
- check_circleProvide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
- check_circleCommunicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- check_circleAdhere to strict infection control protocols to protect immunocompromised patients and reduce risks
- check_circleEngage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU patient outcomes and operational efficiency
Requirements
- verifiedOne year of recent experience as an ICU RN
- verifiedValid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- verifiedCurrent BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and communicate in English
Nice to Have
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification, TNCC certification, NIHSS certification.
