About the Role
We are seeking a Travel Dietetic Technician to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Seward, Alaska. This role is designed to support geriatric patient populations through a hybrid model that balances remote clinical oversight with essential onsite presence.
In this position, you will provide critical dietary support to adult rehabilitation, long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing facility (SNF), and short-term acute care settings. The majority of your responsibilities will be performed remotely via telemedicine and remote clinical support, allowing for flexible hours Monday through Friday. However, you will be required to be onsite for a couple of days per month to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
Your day-to-day will involve managing complex dietary needs for geriatric patients, utilizing EPIC for charting, and participating in conference calls to maintain regular communication with guardians and care teams. You will also engage in ongoing remote monitoring and dietary support, ensuring that hospital and inpatient dietary needs are met effectively while navigating swing bed units and outpatient dietary services.
