About the Position
PRISMGLOBAL 360 LLC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Norfolk, VA. In this role, you will provide essential occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Your work will be guided by state and federal regulations as well as specific facility guidelines, ensuring high standards of care.
The primary mission of this position is to assist patients in developing and restoring their functional independence. You will play a key part in the patient care journey by implementing therapy interventions according to the established plan of care. Success in this role requires accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, effective communication of patient status to the supervising OT, and active participation in patient and family education. Adherence to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols is fundamental to maintaining a safe environment for all patients.
