About the Position
Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Carroll, Iowa. This 13-week onsite contract offers a competitive weekly pay rate and begins as soon as possible.
The Role
In this position, you will implement occupational therapy interventions tailored to each patient's needs, strictly following the plan of care established by the supervising Occupational Therapist. Your day-to-day responsibilities include accurately documenting patient progress in a timely manner and providing essential education to both patients and their families. You will serve as a vital communication link, regularly updating the supervising OT on patient status while ensuring all activities adhere to state and federal safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and hold an active state COTA license, or possess the ability to obtain one prior to the start date. Strong teamwork and patient care skills are essential for thriving in this environment.
