About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit in Asheville, North Carolina. This 13-week travel assignment focuses on providing specialized care for patients recovering from cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries, including open heart and vascular procedures.

You will work effectively in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with a team committed to excellence in patient care. The role involves managing patients recovering from complex surgeries, administering medications and IV drip lines (including cardiac gtts), and participating in the management of chest tubes and epidural procedures as required. Success in this position requires the ability to provide comprehensive patient assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and support and educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
