About the Role

We are seeking a Travel RN for a 13-week assignment in Asheville, North Carolina, to support a fast-paced, high-acuity cardiovascular stepdown environment. This role serves a 40-bed unit dedicated to CV surgery, vascular surgery, and overflow medical cardiology patients.\n In this position, you will collaborate with a team of approximately 100 staff members to provide direct patient care. The environment is designed for professionals who thrive in complex clinical settings, managing post-operative open heart surgery, thoracic surgery, AAA repair, and medical cardiology diagnoses. The schedule features predictable night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) with no on-call requirements, allowing for a clear work-life balance while delivering critical care.

Requirements

Prior experience within the past year caring for CV surgery and vascular surgery patients (open heart, TAVR, lobectomy, AAA repair, fem-pop bypass). Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) background. Experience with CADD epidural pumps.
