About the Role
The Treasury Management (TM) department is responsible for managing clients' money and mitigating financial risks for our commercial customers. This role is vital to our TM team, serving as the bridge between our complex treasury solutions and the clients who rely on them. You will immerse yourself in a dynamic, customer-centric environment where your passion for working with people truly shines.
A Day in the Life
As a Treasury Training Specialist, much of your day is spent leading engaging, interactive training sessions with customers who have recently implemented our treasury management solutions. As a trusted frontline expert, you will work directly with the individuals using our tools to learn how their organizations operate, understand the needs of different user roles, and guide them through our solutions in a way that is practical, relevant, and easy to understand. Your goal is to help clients confidently use our products and see meaningful value in their day-to-day operations.
Beyond live training, you will play an important role in developing and maintaining learning resources such as job aids, guides, and short videos that support continued learning after training is complete. You will also collaborate across the Bank by supporting product demonstrations for sales partners, assisting with internal training for Mercantile employees, and working closely with the Digital and Product teams to support user acceptance testing for system enhancements.
Throughout your day, you will rely on your strong communication skills and problem-solving mindset to help clients optimize their treasury tools, answer questions, and troubleshoot issues as they arise, making a meaningful impact on both the client experience and Mercantile Bank's success.
