We serve customers in all 48 contiguous states through a network of more than 60 branch locations. At RoadSafe, we recognize and value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
As a Traffic Control Flagger II, you will be the frontline guardian of safety at construction sites, road maintenance areas, and work zones. Your primary mission is to direct the flow of traffic to ensure the safety of both workers and the public. You will set up and take down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades, using hand signals, stop/slow paddles, and two-way radios to guide motorists safely through or around active work areas.
This role is dynamic and requires you to be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will spend significant time standing and walking, managing equipment, and communicating with team members and contractors to deliver a high level of customer service. The position often involves traveling statewide, with occasional overnight stays, and requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and on a rotating on-call schedule as project demands dictate.
Candidates must successfully complete the ATSSA Flagger training course and company-sponsored Defensive Driver training. The selection process includes a background check (including motor vehicle records), a drug test, and verification of federal DOT requirements. A valid driver's license is mandatory.
