The Trade Operations Specialist III serves as a critical liaison among internal groups across Arrow businesses, including IT, legal, sales, logistics, asset management, and operations. This role exists to ensure strict compliance with applicable regional, local, and U.S. export and import control laws, protecting the company from fines, penalties, and reputational risks associated with violations.
In this position, you will act as a central point of contact for import and export clearance support for both inbound and outbound shipments. You will direct external freight forwarders, brokers, and couriers, as well as internal shipping staff, on clearance instructions. Beyond daily operations, you will provide analysis and regulatory guidance on preferential warehousing and trade agreement programs, conduct internal business assessments regarding trade control procedures, and design solutions for business projects involving customer and supplier supply chain support.
You will also play a key role in system migrations and software integrations for trade management requirements, manage metrics reporting processes, and create written procedures and policies to comply with internal and external customer requirements. This role requires the ability to independently identify root causes of compliance issues and resolve them while maintaining an efficient workflow in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
