About the Role
In this on-site position, you will be the backbone of our shop, ensuring safety and delivering excellent customer service. Your day will involve mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires and wheels for passenger and light truck vehicles. You will operate specialized shop equipment, perform basic vehicle inspections, and maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with OSHA guidelines. Beyond the technical work, you will collaborate with teammates to meet productivity goals and provide friendly, respectful service to our customers.

- check_circleSafely mount, dismount, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels on passenger and light trucks
- check_circleInspect tires, wheels, and basic vehicle components for wear, damage, and safety issues
- check_circleOperate tire changers, balancers, lifts, and related shop equipment according to safety standards
- check_circleMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA guidelines
- check_circleProvide friendly customer service and explain basic tire and service information
- check_circleFollow all Discount Tire procedures, including torque specs and quality checks
- check_circleAssist with inventory handling, stocking, and movement of tires and wheels
- check_circleCollaborate with team members to meet productivity and customer satisfaction goals
Requirements
