As a Texas Certified Special Education Secondary Teacher, you will be a key member of our team, responsible for implementing the Monarch Integrated Methodology to strengthen relationship development with all students. Your primary mission is to support student growth across our four core goals.
This role requires a deep collaboration with the Therapy Services department and Therapeutic Support faculty to ensure consistent language, actions, and experiences that support our students' therapeutic needs. You will work closely with the Leadership Team to coordinate students' therapeutic agendas and collaborate on the development and implementation of student treatment plans.
In your day-to-day, you will facilitate a Student Committee (if assigned), supervise students during lunch, carpool, off-campus activities, and community meetings, and build the Monarch community by supporting extracurricular and social events. While the position is emotionally rewarding and offers endless opportunities to have a positive effect, it can be stressful at times. You must be prepared to perform well under pressure, think logically, remain calm, and be a great problem solver in a dynamic environment.

Candidates with a minimum of three years of experience as a teacher, with sufficient time spent in special education, are preferred.
