As a Test Security Specialist focused on AP Investigations, you will lead critical inquiries into Advanced Placement test security incidents and score validity concerns. This role is designed to uphold the integrity of the assessment ecosystem by managing cases from initial intake through final determination and closure. You will serve as the primary point of contact for students, parents, educators, and legal representatives, ensuring that every interaction is handled with professionalism, empathy, and strict adherence to policy.
Your work involves synthesizing complex evidence—including statistical indicators, test day reports, plagiarism findings, and AI-related data—to reach clear, well-supported determinations. Whether addressing immediate risks or analyzing long-term patterns, you will apply company policies and legal requirements to decide on outcomes such as score cancellations. This position demands strong judgment and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with fairness and discretion, ensuring that the rights of all stakeholders are protected while maintaining the security of the testing program.
Beyond individual case management, you will play a key role in continuous improvement. By tracking metrics and identifying recurring issues, you will help refine workflows, templates, and investigation playbooks to enhance the speed, consistency, and quality of the team's operations. Success in this role is defined by your ability to balance high-volume throughput with rigorous audit readiness, ensuring that every decision is defensible and every stakeholder interaction is resolved with clarity and respect.
