Botanix is an ASX-listed dermatology company based in Philadelphia and Phoenix. The Company recently launched its first product, Sofdra (sofpironium) topical gel, 12.45%, which received FDA approval in June 2024. Sofdra is the first and only new chemical entity approved for treatment of primary axillary hyperhidrosis, a medical condition where excessive sweating occurs beyond what is needed to maintain body temperature. Hyperhidrosis is the third largest dermatology condition, which impacts the lives of more than 16 million people in the U.S. The broader clinical pipeline targets unmet needs in dermatology.
