About the Role
RESPEC is seeking an experienced Project Lead 3 to support a local SLED client in Austin, Texas. This senior-level project management role is designed for a highly skilled professional with a strong background in leading complex data, analytics, and cloud initiatives within large enterprise or government environments.
In this position, you will serve as the primary bridge between technical teams and business leadership, ensuring that BI and big data project delivery aligns seamlessly with business objectives and timelines. You will oversee data architecture, modeling, and warehousing initiatives from a project management perspective, with a specific focus on supporting healthcare data initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant standards such as FHIR, CCDA, and HL7.
Your day-to-day will involve facilitating Agile and waterfall ceremonies, managing full project lifecycles, and coordinating across cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and vendors. You will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, managing budgets, and producing executive dashboards that provide clear visibility into financial performance and project status.
